Katie Rodriguez, LCSW-C (formerly: Katie Evans)
With over 10 years of experience in behavioral health, Katie provides a warm, collaborative, creative, and judgment-free space for folks. She embraces opportunities to work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and burnout. However, her specialty is supporting people in navigating substance use. Her approach blends evidence-based techniques with a deep understanding of how personal history, relationships, and systemic influences shape our experiences. She aims to give you opportunities to hear yourself daydream and turn those into tiny, tangible, visual next steps.
She uses a humanistic approach and is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills, mindfulness exercises, and Harm Reduction strategies to help clients develop practical tools for emotional regulation, self-compassion, autonomy, and resilience. Katie prioritizes client-led and anti-carceral/stigma/racist approaches.
Katie appreciates opportunities to support people in finding moments of or opportunities for queer joy and/or identity exploration. If you’re looking for a therapist who is approachable, engaged, and committed to your well-being, please reach out below to connect and explore how we can work together. Let’s build a path that works for you.
Katie currently accepts Blue Cross Blue Sheild, Cigna/Evernorth, United Helathcare and sees slinding scale and out-of-network clients. Please reference this unafilliated site as a resource to learn more about superbills/out-of-network care.
New clients will be accepted in July 2025.

“I look up at the night sky, and I know that, yes, we are part of this Universe, we are in this Universe, but perhaps more important than both of those facts is that the Universe is in us.” ~Neil deGrasse Tyson
